Play in Practice (PiP)
Play in Practice (PiP) is the five-day foundation course for new Playworkers employed in out of school provision e.g. out of school clubs and holiday clubs. PiP is delivered by CALA and includes one NC unit: Children and Young People: Process of Play which is accredited by HiMATS.
Children and Young People: Rights and Protection is the NC unit gained through training delivered by Keeping Children Safe. (Child Protection and Rights to Participation and Provision full-day training course).
