ILA Scotland
ILA Scotland is a Scottish Executive scheme that can help you pay for the cost of your learning.
If you are over 18 and living in Scotland, you may be eligible for up to £200 a year of ILA Scotland funding. If you earn £18,000 or less a year, or you are on benefits, you can apply for a £200 individual learning account to put towards a wide range of approved courses that will help you develop the skills that many employers are looking for - including building your computer skills or brushing up on your communication or customer handling skills.
The money is not a loan, so you don't have to pay it back. You just need to contribute at least £10 for each course that you take using your ILA Scotland account.
